Arjun discovers that Reshma was murdered by Dheeraj. The police and the media frantically try to trace him, using the supposed description of a prime suspect. Meanwhile, Reshma's mother plans the funeral of her deceased daughter.
Arjun visits the house of the construction worker, Nirmala, who had been a victim of Dheeraj's previous acts. He tells her about Dheeraj's behavior, and the police are alerted that Dheeraj is moving from place to place, trying to hide from them. Meanwhile, Arjun's assistant Vishal, who was in love with Reshma, is tortured and murdered by Dheeraj.
Arjun's conscience is shattered and he begins to think that he may have joined the wrong side. He tells Inspector Sadaa that he knows where and when Reshma will be murdered and the cops go to the right spot. However, Arjun goes there only to confront Dheeraj with Sonia's dead body, and at this point, Dheeraj is already in the zone to kill. Arjun and Dheeraj then meet again to confront each other, and the two fall prey to fighting again. The cops eventually arrive to save Arjun's life after which they catch Dheeraj. The movie ends with Arjun's wife becoming pregnant with his child.

Interesting summary! Murder 2 definitely had its fair share of suspense and dark twists. The way Arjun’s character grapples with his guilt and conscience adds a lot of depth to the movie. Dheeraj is a real menace, and the tension between him and Arjun was so intense throughout the film.
