As Gran Turismo Sport is a Game For PlayStation Store, you may be wondering how you can play it without having a PlayStation console. Since the PlayStation Store version requires online connectivity, I'm going to keep this article to the Basics and (hopefully) not get into too many details about the racing as I go along. But to get a little more information on the game, visit Gran Turismo Sport: The Basics.
The three modes in Gran Turismo Sport are Career, Arcade, and Showroom. Mark a few party-game party games aside, the Arcade mode is the only mode to use Online Multiplayer, which lets you race for points in real-time with racing friends. Showroom lets you download cars you can't play online - or even choose a car from Gran Turismo's huge catalog of more than 130,000 - and serve as a livery designer, which lets you create your own race cars and then place them on a grid to compete in online races.
Gran Turismo Sport is a real-time racing game in which you race other players on the same machine, in a split-screen setup. Each player races on a track in first person, and must make their way to the finish line while avoiding other players and environmental hazards, as well a broad variety of game-ending events, ranging from sharp turns into other walls and exploding cars to overwhelming force (such as a giant meteor or rogue space-ship). As the game doesn't feature any offline multiplayer, if you don't have an internet connection to connect to, you'll have to download one of the over 45,000 cars in the game before you race online for the first time, and you'll have to sign in (to a public or private server) at least once, or unlock some cars. If you sign in to a private server, you'll be able to race against your friends even offline - though you can only race against them if you have done all of their racing events. d2c66b5586
