I am including this short guide for Intel Mac users, using the BCM5700, BCM5726, BCM5748 or BCM5766 chipsets, running on 901/902 CPUs. Anyway....if you have a UEFI and are burning the Mac OS on a USB drive, you have booted the Mac using option-F9 in normal boot mode. When the Mac starts, hold down Option- and begin pressing the +/- buttons on the keyboard to enter the UEFI setup.

[*NOTE*: Sometimes pressing Option doesn't show the screen, so do so after holding down Option initially, then press it again, and then Press the +/- buttons. Some systems fail to respond to Option- initial option-press, so if you get that problem, do so manually (Press the +/- buttons to show the screen). Press F9 to start booting the Mac.
