The Epson L360 uses a special ink tank. Such tanks are known as LOFOTECH ink tanks. They store the ink for almost 14000 pages. The Epson L360 is considered to be a heavy-duty printer. If the ink level in the ink tank is too low, the ink will appear in a black color. Thus, you have to keep an eye on the level of the ink in the ink tanks. When the level falls to a lower level or a user froces the ink tank, the ink will leak from the print head. The ink will drizzle out from the print head and this ink is black in color. In case the ink drops and the color ink gets mixed up, then this ink is known as black spot ink. When the waste ink pads get insufficient ink then a similar ink is ejected. This ink is dark in color.

When the ink tank needle becomes locked at a specific position, it means the ink levels are satisfactory and it is adequate for printing. Thus, the needle should be checked regularly and maintained to avoid any problem. The ink needle is different in different ink tanks. Some ink tanks have a needle of 12 points.
